Eerie, Odd, Strange, And Fun...

This was a really cool cut. Even the title seemed to drip with a strange creativity. This is one of those tracks that probably wouldnt lend itself well to a flash movie, but is really cool on its own. It didnt quit for one second and just got better and better. It was a fun song and yet a strange song at the same time. The lyrics were silly but catchy. Definitely a good song.

RadRacer responds:

Thanks man, I'm glad you liked it :D It's my first real song using garageband, I would use the program more, but I don't have a mac :S Still a great program. real easy to use. . . perhaps too easy.

Very Cool!

This track was all over the place, the way it maintained a strong pace and yet kep morphing into something completely different. The tempo was a bit off, but what it lacked in structure it more than made up for in the creativity department. For a second attempt this was very good, I cant wait to hear more of yer work, a little farther down the road, when youve found yer niche for song structure, because you have more than enoguh creativity to make a good track. Keep it up and kudos for a great song!

RufusX responds:

Hehe, thanks. ;)

And... this is my second song on Newgrounds. Its a mistake in the description.^^

A Bit Lacking In My Opinion...

It seems that this is a remix of a song, and I have to be honest with you... if you have the opportunity to do anything you want with a track, do you really want to keep it so simplistic and (for a lack of a better word) boring? I dont mean to be overly critical, but this track was a snoozer. It was just to simple and boring, you couldve done so many things with the track you had, and you didnt do much of anything with the material you had to work with, other than producing a track that will work on putting most people to sleep like an ambien will. I hope to hear more of yer work and I hope that yer other tracks arent as slow and simple as this one was.

Nami-Oki responds:

Thank you for reviewing. I did want to make it seem very ambient, that was the point. I like to keep my tracks simple, so people can acknowledge what it is easier. I appreciate all of the constructive criticism, but I think a 1 is a little harsh o.O...

A Great, Morbid, Creepy Track...

For a debut track youve done quite well for yerself. It had a great bassline and a haunting melody. This is one of those cuts that someone could use to make a strange or creepy movie, maybe even a halloween submission. Its one of those tracks where something seems wrong. An awesome debut track, if you keep it up youll be mastering tracks in no time. GREAT JOB.

TERRIBLE.

This sounded like a classroom of 3rd graders smashing organ keys together. If I were you I'd be utterly EMBARASSED by this. Heres a free piece of advice... making an abysmal noise really loud does not make it sound good, no matter how loud you make it. It was 2:39 of utter HELL that seemed to crawl along much much slower than that. This is what kidnergarten sounds like in hell.

Do yerself a favor and please never make music again if its going to turn out this terrible. I can honestly tell you after 6 years at NewGrounds and even as a member of the KITTY KREW, this is still the WORST submission of ANY KIND that I have ever encountered.

Haaaaaaahaaaaaaaa. You've really put a smile on my face. seriously you have. Just so you know, i don't make chip tune music. This is not my style genre or anything. But i was using an emulated c64 vst. Maybe thats why you don't ne like it i dunno.

Go listen to my other stuff you'll realise i'm a lot better at this than you will ever me my friend. Regardless i take your comments on board. They are very much appreciated.

Uninspired TRIPE.

No offense, but this was simply awul. The samples didnt even seem to flow together. It sounds like you just took every guitar sample you had lying around in yer "My Documents" folder and just flopped them together on some drum beats you got off an e Jay program. None of it went together, it sounded like a copy and paste job, the title of the track didnt even make sense.

This track offended my ears and you need to work much harder on yer songs to compete with the other artists in the audio portal. This is the audio equivalent of "B".

The Vocals Were Mediocre...

You know, this would be an EXCELLENT song if the vocals were at the appropriate level. It seemed like some of the consonants "popped" the mic... maybe it would be fixed if the mic was farther away and you just turned it up when you mixed it? Also, the lyrics were a bit generic, not to be overly critical of the song, because it was a good cut, it just sounds like every mix tape I ever bought from someone on the corner in Philly. Maybe a bit more inspired lyrics and the problem with the pop sounds in the mic and you would have a hip hop cut that is extraordinary in comparison to the other songs in the audio portal, but for right now, its still better than most, but could be much better.

Lejin responds:

yeah i hear ya.

Now THATS An Inspired Track!

I dont know what posessed you to make a beat like this, but I hope that muse visits you again soon! Talk about talent, that was one of those rare tracks that when you hear it you have to listen to it more than once to hear all the subtleties in the beat. Dont get me wrong, thats a great thing. I thoroughly enjoyed it, especially because it maintained its stability all the way through the track, which most songs like this fail to do. I hope I hear more like this from you, as I said earlier, because man... this is a one of a kind cut.

madmilo responds:

Tnx for the great review ^^ I guess i'll keep working on new songs. I just put my newest song up "Spiriting away"

Enjoy ^^

Yet Another Instant Hit From Shanetheguy!

You have a way with yer beats that make people want to dance. It was a great tempo, one of those joints where you move yer head back and forth nice and slow. This is the kind of track you can just cool out and get high too. Man, every time I hear a cut from you its like an instant classic. If I were to make a mix CD of stuff I like from the audio portal, I think I would use more of yer tracks than anyone elses... and if you keep up with songs like this, Ill prolly just end up making an entire mix tape of nothing but yer tracks for when Im in the car and want to cool out to some instrumental cuts. GREAT WORK, congrats on yet another hit!

Shanetheguy responds:

I appreciate the appreciation. Its been awhile but i might get back to submitting again

EXCELLENT!

It was a GREAT cut! Although I really didnt care for the voice work on it, I loved the track itself. It was morbid, sinister and dark sounding, macabre and melancholy yet a rhythmic beat. I was weirded out by it and yet bouncing to it, which is an AWESOME combination to inspire into the mind of the listener. I would LOVE to hear something a little more darker than this from you. It was strange, sinister and beautiful. I cant wait to hear more. GREAT WORK.

If you were born after like, 1990, you probably wont like me. I like it when a girl wipes her cunny juice on my upper lip, sorta like a vaginal dirty sanchez, hence the name PantyWipe. The profile picture is of me and my son, Midian.
